Dash’s Connecticut Adventures - Where it All Started
Dash spent some time with us in Connecticut while we got him ready for his “Across America Trip”
Here he is cuddling with me, Marley and Rocket our rescues.

We took Dash to visit the Read to Grow Mobile. We found a book with a dachshund in the story
Read to Grow is non profit. Their mission is to promote language skills and literacy for children, beginning at birth, and to support families as their babies’ first teachers. ReadToGrow.Org

Dash got to sit on the dashboard and enjoy the beach view.

Dash went with me to PAWS (Pet Animal Welfare Society) in Norwalk, CT to donate some toys. PawsCT.Org

Dash and I went to purchase some dog food and we dropped off at the donation location for WASA (Westport Animal Shelters Advocates) a 501c organization dedicated to the care and welfare of homeless dogs in Fairfield County, CT. WASA also assists area pet owners that are struggling financially in regard to providing vet care and adequate nutrition to their pets, WestportWASA.Org.

Dash and I find signs of Spring on our neighborhood walk.

Rocket shares his car seat with Dash. Rocket educated Dash about how important it is to be secured safely when traveling in a vehicle.

We had some other fun together. Dash saw a play, played Scrabble and napped with Lola.

Dash helped bake his Bone Voyage cake before he heads off to Massachusetts to visit Chance of a Lifetime Dachshund Rescue.
